The Property Trust

Because local churches and the Conference are legally just a number of individual people, it is necessary to have Trustees or a Trustee to hold property and to enter into contracts. The Churches of Christ in New South Wales Incorporation Act 1947 No 2 and the Churches of Christ in New South Wales Constitution provides the authority and guidelines for the Property Trust to act as trustee for Conference and all affiliated churches.

The Deposits Fund

The Property Trust also provides concessional loans to churches and ministers to assist in the expansion of ministry. The Deposits Fund has been created so that churches and their members can invest in the Fund to provide the source deposits for these loans.
