Dr James H Jauncey passed away at age 92 ½ years of age on Thursday 31 July, 2008.  He died peacefully in his sleep at his home in El Paso, Texas, having spent a normal day full of routine activities, such as driving his wife Dorothy to the doctor, the previous day.

James Jauncey was a great theologian, founding Principal of Kenmore Christian College in Queensland1965, (the former Queensland Churches of Christ Theological College), Churches of Christ Minister at Albion, Brisbane, and most recently of Coronado Christian Church in El Paso, a keen Christian teacher and author of many Christian books. 

There is of course much more to his "CV" and wonderful full Christian life of teaching and ministry.  He was a peer of Gordon Stirlingand well known and respected by him.
