Fresh Hope
Following the recent National Church Life Survey conducted in Australia (2006), Churches of Christ in NSW scored well in the nine core qualities of church life. These results are indicative of Fresh Hope for our churches as we seek to move God's people onto God's agenda. This season, which we refer to as "Fresh Hope", is a season of opportunity and strategic influence, designed to cultivate new opportunities for ministry and mission.
FRESH HOPE is an ongoing strategy designed to encourage churches to see their future potential. We believe that churches need to be future focused, while using their heritage as a platform to plan and envisage their future.
FRESH HOPE is a culture of conversation, collaboration and communication. We desire to continually improve our capacity to share information, to help and to assist those we serve within God's Kingdom.
FRESH HOPE is about promoting innovation through effective change management that creates outcomes which benefit our ministries and churches within a culture of service.
FRESH HOPE is about interdependence and not independence. There is significant biblical weight to clarify the importance of all working together in unity for the Kingdom of God.
FRESH HOPE promotes Christian spiritual leadership. We believe that Christian spiritual leadership is essential for our future growth. In this vein, we seek to model our values and practices on biblical rather than corporate principles.
FRESH HOPE creates opportunities for men and women, young people, seniors, singles and families to realize their future potentially by offering their gifts in service to God and his creation.
FRESH HOPE is a new culture to maximize our mission to promote and create health and mission as key elements in our future strategy. Within this framework we succinctly believe in promoting and exercising health through healthy teams, healthy communication, healthy accountability and healthy systems. We also believe that mission is at the other of healthy spirituality, where we seek to serve communities from a framework of 'other-centredness'.
