The Australian College of Ministries (ACOM) is the primary place of ministry and leadership training for NSW Churches of Christ. ACOM trains people all over Australia as well as in NSW from all kinds of contexts and backgrounds.

ACOM is committed to serving disciples of Jesus who are serious about kingdom living. Our training is designed to help develop Christian leaders, given the very challenging context in which we find ourselves in the 21st century, no matter where you are in God's world.

Your 'head, heart and hands' are developed by learning from gifted course writers, teachers, spiritual directors and ministry coaches. Because our model of training focuses on flexible delivery for student learning, there is no campus. You can stay in your home and your local church, and count your hours in ministry toward your course.

Our courses are tailored for God's people wherever they work, minister and live - in the church, workplace and community.

We offer a wide range of courses to equip you. They are all nationally accredited and accessible, wherever you are.

Our curriculum is based on ACOM's Lifelong Learning Pathway outlined  in the diagram below.

ACOM offers both a Vocational and a Higher Education Pathway to leadership training. Both avenues are recognised by Churches of Christ and other denominations as valid ministry training pathways. But more importantly both avenues are an opportunity to explore all kinds of ministry and leadership options as well as give access to Higher Awards.

ACOM also offers you the opportunity to deliver training in your church community through our LocalNet program.
